I have designed and produced the big double-circle skirts for dancers for many years.

I make all skirts "to order", so if you are dreaming of a large swooshy dancing skirt, get in touch with me so we can talk about your wishes.

To make a skirt for you I need these measurements:

If you are wearing your skirt on the hips:

- from top of hip bone to floor, outside of leg

- from center back to floor

- from center front to floor

(these 3 measurements will be different)

- circumference of your hips

IF you will wear your skirt from waist - all 3 measurement side/back/front is from waist to floor

This is also the standard model of a double circle cut skirt with black elastic hip/waist.

To make a skirt for you I need these measurements:

If you are wearing your skirt on the hips:
- from top of hip bone to floor, outside of leg
- from center back to floor
- from center front to floor
(these 3 measurements will be different)

- circumference of your hips

IF you will wear your skirt from waist - all 3 measurement side/back/front is from waist to floor.

STANDARD SATIN skirt in action! (video)

Dud dancing in a double circle skirt in STANDARD SATIN (dark navy blue). The lenght of the skirt is "on the floor" meaning the skirt is longer than my legs and therefore will trail the floor.

I like my skirts very long because it gives more width, flow and covers my feet. However, this is a personal preference, perhaps you like your skirt to be just hovering slightly over the floor so you will not step in it so easily - or perhaps you are wearing shoes and like the skirt to be stopping at your ancles - all your choise.

Also notice: this skirt I am wearing with the elastic in the waist, which also ads extra length.

I also have skirts that are worn on the hips for more bellydance style of skirt dancing.

So lenght of skirt is depending on your wishes: from waist or hips .. and how far down to the floor you like it.
