NOTE: In order to get the discounted price for signing up to several workshops, you pay the entire amount before first chosen ws date. So if you want all 5 ws, deadline is August 15.

DESCRIPTION all workshops in general:
The Sunday workshops will build up on technique and combos each Sunday, but not in the same way as a running class. This means you can choose to come for just 1 workshop or 2,3,4,5 as you wish.
SKIRT FUSION workshops :
- warm up and strengthening (mostly standing up, no mat)
- Basic technique for skirt work including spins and flow.
- flow drills over the floor
- improvisational flow
- drama/expression
- short combos or mini choreography
The Skirt Fusion style is very much a freestyle / improvised dance form, where we work with the skirt "in flow" and also with the dramatic expression in focus.
Both the music and dance style in Skirt Fusion will be inspired by Flamenco, Balkan-folklore and Dark Viking/fantasy.
LEVEL: Min. 2 years of skirt, tribal, oriental or flamenco but you don't need experience dancing with the skirt .
BRING: your own double circle cut skirt - with or without ruffles is your own choice. Borrowing is limited, talk to Dud.
TRIBAL STYLE /formation workshops:
- warm up/ strengthening /yoga-pilates (standing, no mat needed)
- basic technique for ATS/FCBD (group format) og Tribal fusion
- basic/mix level formation training in FCBD-formation
- creative combo work
The first Sunday Sept 7 we focus on general formation work in the FCBD/ATS format.
This workshop is very useful as introduction into formations for new tribal style dancers - and as a nerdy repetition for more skilled tribal dancers.
These 2 workshops are also meant as an addition to the FRIDAY-classes
Formations: cirkel, duet, quartet, flock of birds, fades
If time allows it, we will also work a bit on fusion-formations
