Tribal Style / Tribal Fusion

Friday Classes are my special flow technique/combo classes, where we dance our way into the weekend with great music, a cozy dance atmosphere, and a great opportunity to move the whole body and simply let go of the week.

We work with various cross-style techniques from Tribal Fusion, Tribal Style (ATS / FCBD), and Oriental/Baladi.

The sessions will also include light formation exercises/drills – also taught in flow (more dancing, less talking).

The level is mixed – some experience with tribal style technique/movements is necessary, but we welcome all levels, from dancers with just a bit of experience (tribal or oriental) to advanced/professionals.

If you are a complete beginner (no experience), please contact Dud to ask about the possibility of an intro workshop/course in the future.

DROP-IN? Is that still possible?
During the spring test run with drop-in, there was interest in both continuing the "flow training" and transitioning to a structured course format where the training builds from session to session – therefore, Fridays are now a full course.

-
The drop-in period was a test – running with constant drop-ins is a very unstable and difficult to manage.
-
Class time has been extended by 30 minutes, and a short break will be included.
-
The classes will continue to be a mix of Fusion technique/combos and ATS/FCBD technique/moves, but now also include basic "formations", mostly taught in flow (less talking).
-
We still dance without zils / finger cymbals.

It is recommended to attend the 2 Sunday workshops focusing on in-depth FCBD/ATS formation technique, where we’ll explore formations in detail.
